I have the registry entries enabled: GameDVR_Enabled AppCaptureEnabled

I'm not sure what else to do, any info would be appreciated, thanks

Thanks again

Andy

Thank you for the update. Let's check Windows Privacy Settings next. Please go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone.

Make sure the toggle for "Allow apps to access your microphone" is turned on.

Scroll down and ensure that Xbox Game Bar has permission to access your microphone.

If issues still persist on above steps, I would suggest doing an SFC Scan next.

In the menu, select Command Prompt (Admin). NOTE: System File Checker can be run from Windows PowerShell (Admin). On the User Account Control (UAC) prompt, click Yes. In the command prompt window, type SFC /scannow and press Enter.

Please do let me know if issues still persist after the steps above.

Thank you for the update. It could also be due to conflicting software. third-party game recording software, overlays, or optimization tools that might be running in the background that can hinder the recording in your game bar.

    Hello,

The microphone was enabled in game bar and after a scan it returned:

    Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

Any other steps to take? I appreciate your assistance.

    Thanks Again,

    Andy

Hello Charity, Thank you for responding.

Game bar did need to update but didn't fix my problem.

I repaired and reset but still no recording, and those registry entries are set to 1.

Is there anything else I can try? I really like using it.

    Thanks again,

    Andy
