i take it your not an insider? if your not then why the negative ****? because this topic isnt nothing to do with insider in general. its about windows updates on all general releases of windows still serving drivers that causes issues and are indeed expired. as intended. i dont need to go to insider to tell me a that a problem thats plaguing all versions of windows with this stupid windows version of amd's expired driver on windows updates for all versions of windows going back to 1507. its still a thing today that microsoft has not fixed. there is also no option to hide this update too as indicated in my image. again **** to do with being an insider. just because im using 24h2. this is a bug on all versions. and its been there for 11 years. i was an insider for windows 8 too and it had the same bug not detecting the latest drivers with windows updates. if i remember correctly windows 7 and xp had this issue too. do i have to go insider forums for those too.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If your system is working correctly without that AMD driver that Windows updates is trying to install, then the best option is to use the official Microsoft Show/Hide Tool to hide that driver update to stop Windows continually trying to install that driver.

dude that means jack. because the driver isnt an insider update for windows. so i dont know what your on about. on here [Knowledge Base Search (amd.com)]there is no mention of driver 32.0.11002.2000. this isnt a topic about insiders usage as you can see. its an issue with windows updates issuing unknown drivers in general and microsoft still has not fixed it since windows 10. also i cant stand how backwards the public release of windows is right now. but i can confirm the latest amd chipset driver is 100% fully supported 24h2 they just recently released it for am4 on their drivers page. just awaiting for radeon's update too. their previous chipset driver breaks systems running 24h2.Image

Windows updates is known to try to install old or incompatible versions of the drivers, it is best to hide the update to stop Windows trying to install. it.

i uninstalled Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Display - 32.0.11002.2000 and replaced it with 24.5.1 from amd's drivers page for my rx7600. microsoft's Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Display - 32.0.11002.2000 doesnt work properly with amd radeon software from amd's site. also Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Display - 32.0.11002.2000 installs a dead supported UWP radeon software that is 4 years behind 24.5.1's radeon software. if you look up the release ver 32.0.11002.2000 for this microsoft driver there is no information whatsoever all over the net and not even on windowsupdatecatalogue, not on amd's site too. i chose to stick with 24.5.1 and its fine. but if i use microsoft's driver it breaks amd's official radeon software and you wont get access to all the latest features for the rx7k series. amd has not released this months radeon update yet and they are falling behind each month... i dont know what they're doing. but the 24.5.1 seems okay for windows 11 24h2. albeit a few instances of gaming bugs here and there.
