Remote Desktop to 10-bit (HDR) Monitor Color issue

If remoting from an 8-bit non-HDR machine, Colors are rendered incorrectly from the remote machine. Effectively making the screen unreadable. Changing the color depth within mstsc doesn't help.

Changing the host machine's monitor to use 8-bit color corrects the problem with remoting, but that's more of a workaround.

Any ideas on a solution

    Hello,

    i have the same issue.

Remote Machine - AMD rx6900xt, Adrenalline 22.2.3, settings 10Bit = RDP to this machine is cripled.
Remote Machine - AMD rx6900xt, Adrenalline 22.2.3, settings 8Bit = RDP to this machine is OK.

I can temporarily use 8bit settings to work RDP right. But I want to use 10bit to get all benefits on remote PC when I am by him.

Is here any solution? Thank you

    Hello @Trenton Adams

What's the OS of your local computer and remote machine?
How did you change the color depth within mstsc? Did you update the RDP client to the latest version?
Did you change the remote machine's monitor from 10-bit (HDR) to use 8-bit color and correct the problem?
