Way too many processes in windows 11

I'm scared to perform a clean boot if it breaks anything.

    Hi Neo,

    I'm Ramesh, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

    192 processes running on the system is normal. I have 222 in total, and you can see that in the screenshot below. There are 80+ instances of svchost.exe running, and the rest of them include the store apps, system processes, and browser processes.

    Are you experiencing any performance issues?

    Try a clean boot.

    A clean boot will not break anything. Pay special attention to step 3 in that article. You must enable "Hide all Microsoft services" before clicking "Disable all."

    Open Settings, and click Gaming > Game Mode. Turn Game Mode On.

    Note: Game Mode is turned on by default.

    Ensure your graphics driver is updated.
