Why cant I play Xbox Games that I own on my PC? Xbox PC App wants me to purchase games I already own.

Games such as Such as Outlast 2, Tony hawks pro skater 1+2, Spongebob battle for bikini bottom rehydrated and other games I have purchased on my Xbox are “playable on PC” via the xbox pc app.

The Xbox app tells me I need to purchase these games again, and yes, I am signed in, to the 1 xbox account that I have.

However I own 98 games, and only about 12 games shows up including like 7 different copies of minecraft that I dont even recall purchasing.

Ive purchased skyrim on PS5, PC, Xbox series x, xbox one… I went to the skyrim page and was only able to install it because its on gamepass -_- not because I have ownership within the xbox PC app.

Cloud gaming makes me feel like im playing on a CRT television, with poor cables so, when I look anywhere on any games with cloud gaming, I get horizontal lines that travel from top the bottom of my screen, almost as if its trying wayyyy too hard to load the page on my 90 Mbps Download speed and 54 Mbps upload speed….

    Hi ,

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

One thing is that you bought the games on the XBOX console, you can't use it on the PC version, the second thing is that you can access the games on your console using xcloud if you have Gamepassa Ultimate, thus having the chance to install the games as well as the console and PC versions.

So you can't install the games you have from the console on your PC, you have to buy the PC version that includes the entire Xbox catalogue.

You can only install without purchasing if it is through GamePass.

    Hope this helps.
