I'm running on an up to date 64 bit version of Windows 11. There is no Settings>Update & Security. There are now two Settings: one is Privacy & Security and the other is Windows Update. In neither of those do I find any Troubleshoot option. When I try to update my installed TikTok web app (which I installed from the Microsoft Store a long time ago), I get "there has been an error. See details." Clicking on the details link I get a modal popup dialog that reads "Wait a few minutes and try again The update failed Code 0x80073CF3

I've waited and retried for a long time with no change in the results. I've restarted and the same result. I don't need to sign out, because when I come back after a reboot I'm always required to sign in again. Resetting the store cache doesn't help either. I also tried disabling my AV (including Windows Defender and Firewall). None of those attempts made any difference. I still get the same error and code.

Hello! I'm Jen, and I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Please ensure Windows is updated to the latest version. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates and install any available updates.

You could also try signing out of your account, restart your computer then sign back in and see if it resolves the issue. If the issue remains, try to run the Windows store apps troubleshooter. Click Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Select Windows store apps and run the troubleshooter.

If the problem persists, please try resetting Windows store cache. Press Windows key + R to open the Run command window. Type wsreset.exe and click OK. Simply wait for the process to complete and then try logging in again and start the download. If you have any antivirus or VPN enabled, disable them temporarily and check if it helps fix the issue. Let me know if this works. If not, please feel free to reply and I'll be happy to provide further assistance. Thank you.

    Best Regards!

    Jen :)

What's the error code? if none, could be server issue on their end as they said or OS corruption.
Try reinstalling store Fixing Problems with the Microsoft Store | Microsoft Community (msft.chat)
