Rest assured, it is safe to delete the previous Windows installations in Disk Cleanup, they are no longer required and deleting them will clear a lot of space on your drive.
Safe to delete "Previous Windows Installation"?
By using the disk cleanup feature, I found that Previous Windows Installations was taking 23 GBs of space. Is it safe to remove these files? I have never upgraded my OS but I have reset my PC with the keep files option.
An answer would be appreciated. Thank you very much!

When you upgrade to Windows 11 from Windows 10, repair install Windows 11, reset Windows 11 with "Keep my files", or update to a new version of Windows 11 (ex: Windows Update), a copy of the previous installation is saved to the Windows.old folder in the root directory of the Windows 11 drive as a backup. This backup will allow you to be able to go back to the previous Windows for up to a 10 days after upgrading to Windows 11 if you should want to.
If you have no need to go back to the previous Windows, then it is indeed safe to delete to free up a lot of hard drive space.
