MY DELL Latitude 5540 has these details

I've had repeated failures over last 5 days, I've run the DISM and tried to reinstall the above 6/11/202 KB5039212 update with no success in getting past this. I thought by running DISM it would have fixed problem.

Help I'm not sure what to do.

Using Administrator Elevated Command Prompt and DISM here was the order:

    1. DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /SCANHEALTH
    2. DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /CHECKHEALTH
    3. DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RESTOREHEALTH
    4. Sfc /Scannow

    Here were my last results:

Note according to my update history this same update was on my system and successfully installed on 6/11/2024 then since 6/12/2024 to today it tries to reinstall with a failures. I have rebooted and restarted several times. I don't know what to do. Please advise.

This weekend, Edge was being slow and non-responsive, then suddenly I had no internet and WiFi couldn't be opened. When doing the restart I noticed that there was an update to install. When the computer re-started it was fine.
This morning at work when I started up my Dell tower, I couldn't adjust the sound and could only see oneof the 2 printers on the network (an on-going problem that a cold restart and troubleshoot of startup -that doesn't find any problems) usually clears that. When the computer came back up, I could adjust volume and see both printers. However, I couldn't open Word, Excell, Outlook, Onenote, and each had a message box about having to re-install the programs... After another cold restart, where it said it couldn't fix the prob, I had volume control, both printers but no go on the apps. I noticed the Edge had a page about some F'ing upgrade. I tried the apps again and they all opened. MS needs to stop **** with our machines to get us to upgrade.

Also my Dell tower and to some extent the notebook, have instances (way too many running) of Edge eating 900 MB of Ram and another 560MB, etc. I usually end those to speed things up. Also the dwm is eating 400 MB or more. MS needs to figure out how to control apps from eating too much resources.

    Hi Sumit,

    KB5039212 contains newer wsl bits:

    wsl.exe,"10.0.22621.3672","07-Jun-2024","07:29","195,072" wslconfig.exe,"10.0.22621.3672","07-Jun-2024","07:29","120,320" wslg.exe,"10.0.22621.3672","07-Jun-2024","07:29","120,320"

Those wsl files are in c:\windows\system32.

    There are connectivity issues with wsl 2.2.4, e.g. see no network/internet access · Issue #11675 · microsoft/WSL (github.com), Cannot uninstall WSL any more · Issue #11699 · microsoft/WSL (github.com), etc.

Internally who can have a look to this?
