I cannot locate Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019 (version 16.7) after its installation is "successful".

Here is what I have have tried -- repeatably, without success:

(1) I searched in Google "from where can i download and install visual c++ 2015-2022 redistributable. Up popped the following:

 "The Redistributable is available in the my.visualstudio.com Downloads section as Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019 (version 16.7).

 Use the Search box to find this version. To download the files, select the platform and language you need, and then choose the Download button.

 May 28, 2024"

(2) I visited "my.visualstudio.com", selected "Downloads", and entered

 "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019 (version 16.7)"

 in the Search all downloads" window.

 RESULT: The window shown in attached file VS2019\_screenshot\_01.jpg appears.

(3) I click the purple "download" button.

 RESULT: I am prompted to save file VC\_redist.x64 in my downloads directory.

(4) I invoke saved file VC_redist.x64 in my downloads directory.

 RESULT: The window shown in attached file VS2019\_screenshot\_02.jpg appears.

(5) I click Repair.

 RESULT: After a brief period (30 sec or less) a small window appears informing me that

          installation is in progress.

          Subsequently, the window shown in attached file VS2019\_screenshot\_04.jpg appears.

(6) I visit Start->Settings->Apps->InstalledApps and find entries for

 Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x64)

   and

 Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x86)

 HOWEVER,

 I look for any icon on my Desktop remotely related to "Visual Studio C++ 2019". NONE FOUND.

 I also search my entire PC for any file remotely related to said app. NONE FOUND.

I have repeated this loathsome routine ad nauseum with varients on "Repair" and "Uninstall" --

all with the same dismal outcome.

    First of all, check for updates for your Windows and Microsoft Store. This helps resolve bugs like these.

    1. Open System Configuration > Click ''Update & Security'' > ''Windows Update'' > ''Check for Updates''.
    2. Download all available updates. Click on the ''Show additional updates'' option (marked in blue) if you have > Select all drivers > Click on ''Download and install''.
    3. Open the Microsoft Store > Click on "Library" > "Get Updates" > If you have updates, download them all.
    4. Restart your computer.

    First, it is important to keep your computer up to date.
