Rubber like thing came off my laptop. Will this affect my laptop's performance? Help I do not want anything bad to happen on my laptop.

    This should not affect the performance on your computer, just make sure that you do not spill any liquid and maintain its cleanliness.

    This is also due to wear and tear, how old is your laptop? Is it still under warranty?

    If it is still under warranty, you can reach out to your manufacturer support and check if this can be replaced.

    Hello. No looks like a rubber bumper for closing the lid. Could remove it and add something else. Maybe the little cupboard bumpers or mounting tape or a chair foot pad. "Furniture Pads" If you have a cat like me get the rubber ones and slim it down. I ended up using these on my old laptop because the manufacturer left a too big of a gap in the hard drive bay in my old acer f-15 laptop.
