Hello!
My name is David N., and I am a Community Independent Advisor and Windows fan. I will be happy to assist you with your issue.
This could be caused by a number of things. Let's start by checking the system files and checking the drive for errors.
- Click Start and type "cmd'. Open Command Prompt as Admin.
- Enter the following lines one at a time. Note any messages given, especially ones which state that something could not be updated or repaired.
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
sfc /scannow
chkdsk /R /F /X
- Reboot
This refreshes the files used to check the Windows setup for corruption using DISM. It then checks the Windows setup using System File Checker to ensure that your system files are functioning properly. Lastly, it runs Check Disk to detect and try to repair any problems with the physical disk itself or any file system errors.
Test to see if the issue is resolved.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if this resolves your issue or if you require additional assistance.
Regards,
David N.
