Hello! I'm Jen, and I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Try repairing or resetting the Snipping Tool app and see if it resolves the issue. Click the Start button > Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Scroll down and look for Snipping Tool > Click on the three-dot menu beside it and select Advanced options > click Repair. If the problem persists, try resetting the app. Follow the same steps, click Reset under the Repair button. Restart your computer then try using the Snipping Tool app again to check whether the problem is resolved.

If the problem still occurs, try changing the graphic settings for Snipping Tool app. Click the Start button > Settings > System > Display > Graphics > Under 'Add an app' option, select 'Microsoft Store app' > Click Browse > Look for Snipping Tool and select it > Now, you will see Snipping Tool app in the list, click Options > Choose 'High Performance' > click Save. Try recording again using the app to verify if the problem is resolved. Let me know if this works. If not, please feel free to reply and I'll be happy to provide further assistance. Thank you.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be glad to assist you further.

    Best Regards!

    Jen :)

Yes, because when you're using multiple monitors, sometimes the Snipping Tool captures some parts outside the snipping area. I suggest turning off display projection by pressing Windows Key + P. Once projection disabled, try recording again to see if it works.
