Hi
So basically I have an wired mouse connected to my PC. The mouse was working perfectly fine until today when it decided to randomly stop just moving the cursor/pointer. My buttons and everything work but the mouse just doesn't want to move the cursor/pointer
Here are some stuff I tried to fix this problem (none of them worked)
Also I should probably mention that I'm on a windows 11 pro.
I don't think it's in the mouse because just the cursor/pointer doesn't want to move but the mouse itself works (I tried on my older PC)
Any solutions to my problem?

Hi, good day! I'm Jerico T., I understand that you're having some issues right now, I'll do my best to help you with your concern.
Were there any recent changes made on the computer before the issue started?
If there changes made that you're not aware of, you may try and perform system restore on your windows computer to revert any changes made and take the computer settings back to an earlier point where everything works fine
System Restore
Windows will restart itself to start system restore. System restore might take some time to complete and it is very important that system restore must not be interrupted during restore process as it might damage the operating system. System restore will take at least 20 minutes or more depending on the content of the computer and the changes on the settings that was done prior to the date selected. System restore will also remove application, updates and drivers installed prior to the date selected.
DISCLAIMER:
System Restore is a recovery tool for Windows that allows you to reverse certain kinds of changes made to the operating system. System Restore is used to return important Windows files and settings like drivers, registry keys, system files, installed programs, and more back to previous versions and settings. Being said all applications and changes made prior to the date selected will be removed and needs to be re-installed if its needed.
Feel free to reach back if you need any further assistance.
Hope this help. Have a good day.
Thank you,
Jerico T.
Thank you for your response. I see, yes kindly try to use a different mouse pad and check if it makes any difference. If in case the issue still persists, try to roll back the driver for your mouse.
Regards,
Jerico T.
Mouse is moving or not in bios. Try with another USB mouse inside windows
It PARTLY fixed my problem mouse can now move but very very slowly, but I think the problem is in the mouse pad?
