The registered mark doesn't appear when pressing CTRL+ALT+R

I have a problem with the shortcuts.

First of all, I opened notepad and tested to see if the symbols can appear just by pressing CTRL+ALT+R and it didn't work, so I used ALT+0174 and still got the exact same thing.

Can someone explain why didn't this work and did something changed? My OS is Windows 11 Pro 64-bits 23H2

Sticky keys can interfere with some shortcuts, especially if they involve using the Shift, Alt, or Ctrl keys. To disable this feature, tap the Shift key five times.

Otherwise, if it didn't work before, surely the layout or configuration of the keyboard does not allow you to use these shortcuts. You should then use the alt+0174 key

    Did it work before?

You can go to Device Manager and reinstall the keyboard drivers.

Just press Windows + x keys and select Device Manager.

Find the keyboard drivers in the list, right-click and select uninstall.

Reboot PC to let Windows reinstall drivers automatically.

I have two of HID keyboard devices and one of Standard PS/2 Keyboard, but I can't do that unless you need to tell me which one of them should be uninstalled correctly

Hello , sorry about your problems. My name is Marco and I will do my best to help you.

Keyboard shortcuts can often interfere with a third-party application. For example, when I do this shortcut, it's an NVidia overlay that opens instead of ®️.

To check this, you can do a clean boot, which consists of restarting Windows with only Microsoft services open.

If the shortcut works after this restart, an app is indeed causing this conflict. In this case, re-enable one app at a time to determine which one it is.

Here is the link how to do it:
