Yes, that's worth a try. But before that, let's see if doing a clean boot solves the issue. I've provided the steps below:

    1. Open System Configuration:
      • Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
      • Type msconfig and press Enter.
    2. Configure Services:
      • In the System Configuration window, go to the Services tab.
      • Check the box for Hide all Microsoft services to ensure you don't disable essential Microsoft services.
      • Click Disable all to disable all third-party services.
    3. Disable Startup Programs:
      • Go to the Startup tab in the System Configuration window.
      • Click on Open Task Manager.
      • In the Task Manager, go to the Startup tab.
      • Disable all startup items by right-clicking each item and selecting Disable.
    4. Apply Changes and Restart:
      • Close the Task Manager.
      • In the System Configuration window, click Apply and then OK.
      • Restart your computer.

To return to a normal startup after troubleshooting:

    1. Open System Configuration:
      • Press Windows + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.
    2. Re-enable Services and Startup Programs:
      • Go to the Services tab, uncheck Hide all Microsoft services, and click Enable all.
      • Go to the Startup tab, click Open Task Manager, and re-enable all startup items.
    3. Apply Changes and Restart:
      • Close the Task Manager.
      • In the System Configuration window, click Apply and then OK.
      • Restart your computer.

This will restore your computer to its normal startup configuration.

Have you tried reducing the graphics settings? Also try turning off any external apps.

Thank you very much for reaching out! As an Independent Advisor and fellow Microsoft user, I'm more than happy to assist you.

Can you check which process is consuming higher CPU usage from task manager?
