So In my childhood I had a PS3, and then I just thought why don't I play a game on my PC with my controller?. I tried to plug in my PS3 Controller into my Laptop but in my Control Panel. there is no "PLAYSTATION3 CONTROLLER" recognized. but my controller is Charging?

I'm still trying to fix this. Windows 10 can't pick up anything, even my Windows 10 is up-to-date...

I have watched to many tutorials and I am still stuck, help.

    Hi Schumori,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Based on the original description, the device seems to be experiencing issues related to the controller connection.

We understand the frustration of not being able to connect a DualShock 3 device on a Windows device.

However, DualShock 3 or other similar Controller products developed by different vendors are not by nature specifically developed to be adapted to the Windows platform.

There is no native underlying API support in Windows related to the DualShock 3 product.

Connecting to a different vendor's Controller on the Windows platform usually relies on an analog/simulation type of application or driver.

Unfortunately, you may need to explore the Internet for tools that can be used to accomplish such goals.

The content in this thread describes some potential examples.
