Thanks to how often Microsoft changes Win 11 your instructions are no longer relevant. In Game Bar settings there are almost no settings at all and "recording game clips, chatting with friends, and receiving game invites" are not listed at all.

Hi, How are you? I am Alan, Microsoft Expert, an Independent Advisor. I will be happy to assist you today. I appreciate your contact!

Make sure Xbox Game Bar is turned on. Go to Settings > Gaming > Xbox Game Bar and make sure "Enable Xbox Game Bar for things like recording game clips, chatting with friends, and receiving game invites" is turned on. If not, activate it. Next, check the hotkey settings in the Xbox Game Bar. Still in Settings > Games > Xbox Game Bar, scroll down until you find the "Keyboard Shortcuts" section. Make sure the screen recording hotkeys (Win + Alt + R) are configured correctly. If necessary, reset these hotkeys to their defaults.

Make sure your Xbox Game Bar is up to date. Go to the Microsoft Store, click the three dots in the upper right corner and select "Downloads and updates". Click "Get Updates" to ensure all your apps, including Xbox Game Bar, are up to date.

If the issue persists, try resetting the Xbox Game Bar. Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features, find the Xbox Game Bar in the list, click "Advanced Options" and select "Reset." This may fix issues with the app that may be affecting your hotkeys.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be glad to assist you further.

    Best,

    Alan
