I have a similar question to you. If I bought the Minecraft Bedrock edition on switch, do I have to buy another license to play with the same edition on PC?

When you buy Minecraft for the Nintendo Switch, you get the Bedrock edition, which is different from the Java edition that runs on PCs. These two versions are separate purchases. So, if you want to play Minecraft Java Edition on your PC, you'll need to buy it separately.
