I do not want to sign in every time I start my computer.I looked at some of the answers on this site, but none of them worked out. Additionally, I cannot set up a Windows Hello pin (i get the "Something went wrong" error everytime). Is there a way to remove the sign-in on the Microsoft account at every startup without setting up a Windows Hello? I am aware that removing this feature will jeopardize my security but this feature requires me to be connected to the internet always.

4.It asks me to set up a pin

    5.Press Next

    6.Same error

    7.Press Try later

    8.Now I am back at the 2.

    Hello. This is Emily.

This is the textbook standard instruction. Make sure you follow closely. If for any reason it didn’t work I need to know exactly at what step it does not work, and what error you receive etc.

    1. First, go to Settings > Accounts > Sign in options, scroll down to mid page, under "Additional Settings",Make sure "For improved security, only allow Windows Hello Sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device (Recommended). " is turned OFF.
    2. Type netplwiz in the search on the taskbar and press enter, select your user, if the "user must enter a username and password to use this computer" box is NOT checked, please check it , click Apply. Then uncheck the box and click Apply. This will bring up a pop up window.
    3. On this pop up window, this is where most mistakes happen. Very important, erase the username that's prefilled. Username should be your entire email address for your Microsoft account. Password is your Microsoft account's password. Any typo here can prevent it from working. Then click OK. And back to the netplwiz page, click OK.
    4. Restart the computer now and it should work.

Yes, I have just one account right now. But this account that I am currently using isn't the first one that I created. I deleted the first one because I couldn't set up Java(because there was an unknown character in my pc name [the latter İ]).Because there is no option to change the pc name,I have to add another user and delete the old one.

Thank you for sharing the details of the difficulties you ran into.

We have a bigger problem here - you wouldn't want to change the account from admin to standard user. Is that the only account on this computer? Do you have another account that's admin? If not, we have a bigger issue here.

    Thank you for fast reply.

    1. I cannot turn of the "For improved security, only allow Windows Hello Sign-in for Microsfot accounts on this device." because it says "Set up windows hello to change this settings. ( And the second problem is i cannot set a windows hello, i think my camera is not suitable for face recognition, and i do not have a fingerprint device, lastly when i try to set a pin there is a error that says: "Something Went Wrong" "We weren't able to set up your PIN. You can try again, or skip this step and set up a PIN later.)

Because i cant do the first instruction i skipped to the second one

    1. There is no box that says "user must enter a username and password to use this computer" so ı just changed my account type Administor to normal user.
