Sir isn’t there any other way than having to do a clean install of windows,

I have seen somewhere they said to create a different local user profile, and reinstall the game in another drive .I have tried to do that but whenever I switch user or sign out to sign in with the other user,it doesn’t get signed in!I just keep clicking sign in and it doesn’t do that, but I can with my first main user.how can I fix that?

And do you think that if I create different local user profile and reinstall the game in another drive(according to some source)?I wont have to do a clean install of windows?

If it won’t work can you show me another way?

It has been days,it has been very tiring I just kept installing files of fortnite again and again, doing so many tutorials from YouTube, contacting epic games waiting for a long time for their response.

    Hello aram amedy,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your PC and Fortnite. Based on the error message you provided, it seems like there might be some issues with your Windows system files. I would recommend trying the following steps to see if they help resolve the issue:

***the most annoying one is my game Fortnite wont launch it just kept closing with no error code.***You can try to uninstall game Fortnite and reinstall it to see if it helps.

    1. Run the System File Checker (SFC) tool to scan for and repair any corrupted system files. To do this, open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type "sfc /scannow" (without quotes) and press Enter. This process may take some time to complete.
    2. If the SFC tool is unable to repair the corrupted files, you can try running the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool. To do this, open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" (without quotes) and press Enter. This process may also take some time to complete.
    3. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to perform a clean install of Windows. Before doing so, be sure to back up any important files and data.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou

    Hello aram amedy,

    Good day!

And do you think that if I create different local user profile and reinstall the game in another drive(according to some source)?I wont have to do a clean install of windows?
A: I am not sure, but you can try.

I have tried to do that but whenever I switch user or sign out to sign in with the other user,it doesn’t get signed in!
A: Did you create another local user account? If so, when you sign in using this local user account, what error message did you received?

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,
    Daisy Zhou
