Hello Melissa, sorry about your problems. My name is Marco and I will do my best to help you.
Here are the steps you can try to reset your PIN if you can't sign in to your laptop:
-Boot into Advanced Startup Options
Hold down the Shift key while clicking Restart on the sign-in screen. This will boot you into the Advanced Startup Options menu.
-Access Command Prompt
From the Advanced Startup Options, go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Command Prompt.
-Delete the Ngc Folder
In the Command Prompt, navigate to the Ngc folder location by typing:
cd C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft
-Then delete the Ngc folder by typing:
rd /s /q Ngc
This will delete the folder containing the corrupted PIN data.
-Reset Your PIN
After deleting the Ngc folder, restart your laptop normally. You should now be able to go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and reset or remove your PIN.
If this doesn't work, you may need to reset your PC from the Advanced Startup Options or create a new local user account and transfer your data over.
