Can't uninstall McAfee Security Scan plus on Windows 10 through the usual method. It is greyed out and unresponsive

I tried everything including running MCR.exe multiple times, the scaling approach of changing high dpi optimizations...everything. MacAfee remained.

I couldn't resize the uninstaller window at all - the only option was to close it. And it ran everytime I tried to uninstall using either the uninstall app or the uninstall option in App settings.

Finally I accidentally hit the "Tab" key when the uninstall window was open and the dialog box shifted enough that I was able to see and click the "uninstall" button.

Finally gone.

When I bring up the McAfee uninstall program to remove Security Scan Plus, the window is too small to show the uninstall/remove button. I can't expand the window either (no button availabe).

Also downloaded MCRP program and ran twice.

Its still there.

Bloody nuisance, cos I already use a paid program before I got this new laptop

Press Tab and press the Space bar. This clicks the Uninstall button, which is not visible on the screen.

Hi Ramesh, I have done all these things and it's still there. I installed and ran McAfee removal tool then followed the instruction to remover Security Scan Plus as administrator.

It's still there. So, today I reinstalled a new instance of McAfee removal tool then tried to run and remove security scan plus as an administrator but it now won't let me do it.

Any further suggestions would be much appreciated.
