    Your instructions are NOT correct. You will NOT allow me to remove my card details. This is a breach of our national law.

    That does not work. Whenever I try to delete my credit card information, I get the following error message:

    'We couldn't remove your payment method. Try that again. Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit can help.'

    I've waited long enough.

    I want to remove my card from your system asap!

    I do not have an active subscription for this very reason;

    there is no need for you to hang on to my card details.

    Thank you.

    Thank you very much for reaching out! As an Independent Advisor and fellow Microsoft user, I'm more than happy to assist you.

    To delete your credit card details from your Microsoft account, you can follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account:
    2. Select the Card to Remove:
      • On the Payment options page, you will see a list of your saved payment methods.
      • Select the credit card you wish to remove.
    3. Remove the Card:
      • Click or tap "Remove," located at the top of the card details.
      • Confirm the removal by clicking "Remove" again in the confirmation window.
      • Refresh the page to make sure your card is removed.

    Please make sure that the card you want to remove is not associated with any active subscriptions. If it is, you will need to update your subscription with a new payment method or cancel it before you can remove the card.
