Hi. In Windows 10 and 11 Bluetooth is simply a disaster!

Smartphones and tablets get paired but it is impossible to connect them.

I tried ALL you suggest (more than once!) with different Android devices (Sony, Samsung, Huawei),

and with different laptops and desktops (Asus, Lenovo, Acer, Hp).

Please correct the problem IMMEDIATELY!!! Windows 10 and 11 are not new OSs, and I paid

    for the licenses!!!!!

    Thanks.

I tried all of the fixes as mentioned, but none of them seem to work, I even tried to revert the driver to a previous version, and yet it still refused to function.
It seems as if the driver itself doesn't recognize what it's supposed to do as it doesn't get stuck in a loading screen or indeed load anything, simply instantly reverting to a response of "couldn't connect". I've tried with headphones, a wireless speaker and a mouse and none of them function properly, nor indeed seemingly even try to be connected at all.

Same, two different pairs of bluetooth headphones. Don't normally use them with my laptop (HP Envy 360 windows 11) so only discovered the problem over the last month.

Driving me nuts. They work, then they start stuttering, then one pair stops working, try the other, it works, then it stops working, then can't connect with either, remove from devices and then can't find them despite all other bluetooth devices showing notifications asking do I want to pair?

The problem isn't the laptop, it isn't the devices. It's Windows 11. Sick and tired of putting up with badly tested updates that break everything and then zero fixes for months.

Thankfully I work from home so don't need the headset for meetings. I'd be totally screwed if that was the case.

Seriously thinking of just ripping the bandaid off and going full linux or shock horror, IOS! Whole different ecosystem to learn but at least their stuff works

I had to set the Bluetooth discovery settings to advanced before it would identify my BT from my LG TV

BT devices -> device settings -> BT device discovery - default/advanced
