Hello,

I am facing so much of difficulties while working, as I am habituated to use the task bar position to top or right side of the screen. but Windows 11 doesn't have this feature to move the taskbar. Could you please bring this solution, to move the task bar.

Thanks

Unbelievable. Will there be an option to move the taskbar to the left side of the screen? or will it be permanently fixed to the bottom of the screen? I have used this feature since I can remember... having to reconfigure my brain to now click the bottom of the screen has been making my productivity slow down tremendously...

Hopefully you all can add the feature again...

Keen to join in on this feedback! Most ergonomic assessments recommend the taskbar be moved to the top or side of the screen to prevent people having further neck issues by looking down all the time!

Typical Microsoft… They release a solid version of Windows, followed by one or more disappointing versions before eventually delivering another good one. Personally, I find Windows 10 acceptable, so I intend to skip Windows 11. The centered taskbar in Windows 11 seems to be part of the less favorable phase in their development cycle.

Hi Aijaz, I am John J.D., a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand your frustration, and I'm here to provide information as a fellow Microsoft user. In Windows 11, the taskbar is designed to be aligned at the bottom of the screen by default. This design choice was made by Microsoft.

Currently, you can only change the taskbar alignment from the default "Center" to "Left" by going to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors.

If you want Microsoft to add this feature in the future, you can provide feedback using the Feedback Hub by pressing the Windows key + F.

Would you like me to send feedback on your behalf instead?

    Please let me know.

    John J.D.
