I cannot play YouTube videos when connected to a Bluetooth speaker on my laptop

The computer I use is a Vostro 5490, which runs Windows 11, when I connect Bluetooth to my speakers or headphones I will not hear anything. When I go to YouTube to open a video, it keeps loading until it says "If playback doesn't begin shortly try restarting your device".

When I saw it was, I turned on the sound troubleshoot and reset my sound, which worked. But after hearing the sound, I had an additional error which was the sound transmitted through the speakers, the headphones were crackling and sometimes a bit flickering. This sound jitter error does not happen continuously, but sometimes it will happen, sometimes it happens many times, and sometimes it is little. Meanwhile, my speakers, and headphones connected to other devices work normally.

If I disconnect Bluetooth and reconnect it, it fails to hear sound, and I have to reset the audio in the sound troubleshoot again. Sometimes doing this will cause additional errors and make the sound troubleshoot unable to reset the laptop's audio.

If I leave it like that, and I don't reset the audio, about 20 to 30 minutes, my speakers, and headphones can sound again, but the sound quality is still crackling, and flickering. This sound jitter error does not happen continuously, but sometimes it will happen, sometimes it happens many times, sometimes it is little.

I also tried resetting my laptop, recovery, resetting Bluetooth drivers, deleting the Bluetooth connection of the speakers and headphones, and reconnecting to them, but nothing completely fixed the problem.

That is all I know about my laptop Bluetooth problems please help me fix this

Hey guys, this is for all those who might still be unclear on what to do in this situation. I also had the same thing. I tried this out, it worked. hopefully it works for all.

Step 1: Remove your bluetooth device.

Step 2: Pair your bluetooth device again (it might not show up, in that case, put one of the buds back in, and keep one out. atleast this works for me.)

Step 3: Connect your bluetooth device.

That's all it took me, thanks for reading.

    Dear Trần Hiếu1

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.

Regarding your question, if you have tried to reset your Windows system, then most likely this is not a system setup issue.

What model Bluetooth headset are you using, and based on your description, he may be in ON FREE mode on the Bluetooth headset, which is causing the sound quality to be impaired, because while you are using the Bluetooth headset to listen to the music, he is also receiving ambient sound from his surroundings, so he may be particularly noisy.

We suggest you to take a screenshot of your current audio input and output devices so that we can better understand your problem.

Looking forward to your further reply.

    Best Wish
