I have the same Kodak i1220 scanner and have been able to get it to work on Windows 11.

The latest driver here (https://www.kodakdriver.com/kodak-i1220-scanner-driver/ ) was version 4.09

You also need Smart Touch software version 1.5 works (I think you may be able to get it here, but I had it stored from previously https://kodak-i1200-smart-touch.software.informer.com/versions/ ) I have tried version 1.7.122 which is the latest but I couldn't get it to work on Win 10 or Win11. The older version means the button on the scanner itself doesn't work, but this is a minor inconvenience (You may be able to do it with a Button Remapping Tool in C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodak\Document Imaging\kds_i1200\Smart Touch or messing with the registry, but I haven't tried that yet)

Once you're all set up, the user manual can be found on your computer here, C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodak\Document Imaging\kds_i1200\Smart Touch\Workstation\Help

If you need to copy settings over from a previous computer, they are stored in two places. The most useful being your setting shortcuts for the scanner itself C:\ProgramData\kds_kodak\kds_i1200\profiles. NB (program data is only visible if you set 'show hidden files')

The other is the quick start buttons 1-9 (part of the Smart Touch software) C:\Users#####\Documents\Smart Touch\i1200\Settings

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

That is a very old scanner, if you go to the support page for your scanner on the Kodak website, do they provide Windows 11 drivers for the scanner?

That scanner was discontinued long ago. The manufacturer (Kodak) stopped supporting it after Windows XP SP2. It's very unlikely that it will work properly on Windows 11, if it works at all.

When a manufacturer stops supporting a product, there's nothing that Microsoft can do to keep it working. The original Kodak company didn't actually make that scanner, so I don't think they can help, but you can try: Kodak Consumer Products Support
