I'm sure I've done this in the past, but it doesn't work now. I'm trying to drag a .pdf file to a ZIP folder. I get a circle with a . Windows 10 and 11.

See the picture for an example.

    Hi ,

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

Open the .zip files, try dragging it to the open .zip and see if it will add, if not, it is probably a permission or security issue with a program like 7-zip or winrar.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi ,

So it's a question of permission as it is a sync folder then you have to look in the root sharing folder and see if it has permission to edit or is in read mode, however it is a temporary solution you copy the file outside the folder and add location and replace back.

    Hope this helps.

The problem seems to be with the .ZIP folder. I created a new test .ZIP folder with the Send option. I am able to drag other uncompressed files to the new test.ZIP folder. I can't drag file to it from the old .ZIP file, so I'll give unzipping them to somewhere else first a try.

Update: That worked. I copied all the compressed files to a TEMP folder, then copied from them from the TEMP folder to the new .ZIP folder.

    Hi ,

Try copying the zip file to your computer locally and try adding it again.

That was one of the first things I tried. It doesn't work either.
