First, get a free program called "geek uninstaller". It is a simple stand alone program, no install needed. Once you have this program, open it up and look for "Microsoft Edge" and "Microsoft Edge Updater" on the list that comes up.
finally, I can uninstall Microsoft Edge on Windows 11 by using this third party with the force remove option.

    Hi ,

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

    Open Command Prompt as administrator:

Access the Start Menu, type “cmd” in the search field and select the “Run as administrator” option in the right sidebar.

Enter the command to uninstall the browser:

With the Command Prompt open, copy and paste the following command, without quotes: “cd %PROGRAMFILES(X86)%\Microsoft\Edge\Application\xxx\Installer”, replacing the “xxx” with the Edge version number obtained previously — for example, 109.0.1518.52.

    Press “Enter”:

The Command Prompt will start searching for the Microsoft Edge installation location.

    Enter one more command:

This time, copy and paste the following command, without quotes: “setup.exe –uninstall –system-level –verbose-logging –force-uninstall”.

    Press “Enter”

    Hope this helps.

"version number obtained previously" is a quote from what you said and no where previously do you have an explanation on how to do that. Explain everything or nothing at all. I can figure this out but not everyone has an IT degree. Stop assuming people know how to do any part of what you are explaining. You go step 1 step 2 step 7 step 8. Just get on the bike and peddle it's easy. Have empathy and learn to put yourself in other people's shoes.
