Okay glad to hear you found it. CSM would have been my next thought.

CSM is to allow the windows boot disk to be set as MBR or GPT. It sounds like yours is MBR which would not be compatible with Windows 11 as that requires GPT

So CSM is an either or setting when enabled to allow backward compatibility for a MBR disk or GPT disk.

If windows was install while set to legacy then it will not boot while set to UEFI. Change it to Legacy boot, save the bios settings and reboot the PC.

    Let me know.

    How old is the computer.

Can you go into the bios and check the boot mode. Does it show Legacy or UEFI. Perhaps the latest bios update has changed it to UEFI mode where it was originally Legacy and therefore windows won't boot.

Are there any error messages or does it just stop at the bios.

Was the bios update via windows update or did you get it from the system manufacturers website?
