It's an internal card and there are like 2 maybe 3 walls between the laptop and the source
How do I extend the range of my wifi adapter
Anytime I try to connect to a wifi the networks available do not show unless I bring the device close to the source of the network

You cannot extend the range of the WiFi card in your PC, you may need to purchase a WiFi extender, is that an internal WiFi card on your PC or is it a USB WiFi adapter?

How far away from the router are you when this problem happens and are there many walls between you and the router?
