Brand new wd blue 1tb nvme and brand new windows 11 pro media installation tool both purchased at best buy yesterday. I have tried multiple nvme and hdd and none will complete an install. my pc has been blue screening off and on for a few months and having trouble with windows updates the last few days it had gotten really bad and I decided to restore and keep personal files this got me back to my desktop however after installing cod it would crash everytime after two minutes then I tried elden ring on steam and it would install but upon launch would fail citing untrusted easy anticheat I tried several fixes for these issues and was still getting blue screens occasionally and after nothing working decided to format all 3 of my drives and do a complete restore and download windows online after this I encountered the Windows 11 install error I presumed it was either my drive or the online install and so I purchased a brand new drive and windows 11 pro install media usb tool and I am still having the same issue ive tried using the media tool to do startup repair however it says it cannot repair my pc. I have done sfc/scannow multiple times it will say it found and repaired or found and could not repair either way same install error appears upon installation retry. I have also run mdsched to try and check my ram and after selecting restart now it says windows cannot check memory for problems also I have moved the ram around and tried different sticks in different spots even just a single stick during install and same errors. BIOS reads all 32 gigs of ram it reads all of my drives I have reset it to default settings turned off xmp and disabled fast boot with no change.

I built the pc in 2020 10850k and an asus rog strix z490 e-gaming MB.

That error you are seeing can only be caused by file being corrupted on the USB you are using, there is no other cause of that error.

What method did you use to create that USB, did you use the official Media Creation Tool and use a different USB flash drive, that is the same error, which usually indicates the USB is corrupt

I was not able to easily create a windows 11 usb but i could make a windows 10 version insterted the the new usb and tried installing and got this new error code 0x8007025D. I removed my gpu and all but one stick of ram and same error tried different ram slots and sticks with no success. Tried running startup repair and it would not work.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

That error you are getting indicates the USB you are using is corrupt even though it is new, the best option would be to create a new bootable USB and use that to clean install Windows.

Also, it would be a good idea to simplify your build as much as possible during the installation, like, use one stick of RAM, and if you have dual graphics, just use the integrated graphics...etc.
