Hello there! I am Charity, I'm an Independent Advisor. I'm glad to help you today!

Thank you for the information. The main reason why you won't hear the audio while using the mic or vice versa.

Stereo Mode (A2DP - Advanced Audio Distribution Profile):

Purpose: This mode is designed for high-quality audio streaming.

Usage: Ideal for listening to music, watching videos, or any application where high-quality stereo sound is needed.

Audio Quality: Provides superior sound quality compared to Hands-Free Mode, as it supports higher bit rates and stereo audio.

Example: Using Bluetooth headphones or speakers to play music from a smartphone or computer.

Hands-Free Mode (HFP - Hands-Free Profile) / Headset Mode (HSP - Headset Profile):

Purpose: This mode is designed for voice calls and communication.

Usage: Primarily used for phone calls or voice communication applications like video conferencing.

Audio Quality: Typically lower audio quality compared to Stereo Mode, as it prioritizes voice clarity over audio fidelity.

Features: Includes features like microphone support, call controls (answer, end, volume control), and possibly integration with voice assistants.

Example: Using a Bluetooth headset to make phone calls or participate in a virtual meeting.

If you want to both hear, and speak with your headband, you will need to select UniNB 4500 Hands-free on both options.

    Kind Regards,

    Charity
