My Screen doesn't fit the monitor

Hi everyone!

I know that this is a widespread question but I can't find the solution yet:

My screen doesn't fit the monitor that I have.

I already tried to go to the Display Settings and play with the different sizes and resolutions, but the screen keeps being too 'wide' or too small.

In either case, the screen doesn't fit the monitor size.

I also updated the drivers and everything is updated on my computer.

I remember that a few years ago, it happened to me and somebody advised me to open the 'monitor center' and manually change the screen size to fit perfectly into the monitor.

Does somebody remember how to do it?

Please help!

Thanks a lot

Benji

Thank you for that information, that 32" monitor does have a low resolution, it's native resolution is 1360 x 768 and that is why Windows is showing that monitor smaller than your laptop screen, your laptop screen must have a higher native resolution.

The specifications of that monitor indicate if you go into the monitor settings by pressing the menu button, you should find a resolution upscaling setting, try using that to get the image to fit the screen.

Also Dave, something that might help:

Under the Display window, the monitor (that is way bigger than my laptop) is represented as way smaller:

    (1) is the Laptop and (2) is the LG monitor

    Hi Dave!

    1. The (recommended) resolution is 1360 x 768.
    2. LG 32LJ510Z

    Thanks a lot Dave!

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    1

Right click your Desktop and select Display Settings

What resolution is marked as (recommended)?

    2

On the back of your monitor, there should be a label, what is the make and exact model number of your monitor?

    3

Right click your Start button and open Device Manager.

Expand the Display Adapters section, please provide a screenshot of that window.
