How do I connect my HP laptop to my LG TV?

I cannot connect my HP laptop (model 14s-dq2514sa) with Windows 11 to my LG TV (UT73006LA) to screen share. My phone will screen share so I know the problem is with the laptop. I have tried restarting my laptop multiple times, reinstalling wifi and checking drivers but it will not screen share. I have also made sure network connectivity setting and media sharing settings allow devices to pair. The TV seems to register the laptop is trying to connect as it says so on screen but then the screen just goes black and then pack to the home page

Hello! I'm Jen, and I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Is it a wired or a wireless connection? If your PC is connected to the TV with a cable, press Windows key + P to open Windows presentation mode and select Duplicate. If it's wireless, press Windows key + P then click 'Connect to a wireless display' and select your LG TV from the list. Make sure your laptop has a wireless LAN card for wireless display.
