Hello,

I'm experiencing a recurring issue where my computer reboots unexpectedly with a bugcheck error. The error details are as follows:

  • Bugcheck Code: 0x00000109
  • Parameters:
    • 0xa39fcf620bec0809
    • 0xb3b6dbe85e6e50d5
    • 0x00000000000001a0
    • 0x0000000000000007
  • Dump File Location: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP
  • Report Id: f4d47b65-c4b2-4b67-9ae0-760f1d399532

I have tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:

  1. Analyzed MEMORY.DMP using windbg, output was as following
    CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION (109) This BugCheck is generated when the kernel detects that critical kernel code or data have been corrupted. There are generally three causes for a corruption: 1) A driver has inadvertently or deliberately modified critical kernel code or data. See http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/driver/kernel/64bitPatching.mspx 2) A developer attempted to set a normal kernel breakpoint using a kernel debugger that was not attached when the system was booted. Normal breakpoints, "bp", can only be set if the debugger is attached at boot time. Hardware breakpoints, "ba", can be set at any time. 3) A hardware corruption occurred, e.g. failing RAM holding kernel code or data;
    SYMBOL_NAME: ANALYSIS_INCONCLUSIVE MODULE_NAME: Unknown_Module IMAGE_NAME: Unknown_Image STACK_COMMAND: .cxr; .ecxr ; kb FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: BAD_STACK_0x109 PROCESS_NAME: System
  2. Checked hardware components:
    • Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic – no issues found.
    • Performed disk check using chkdsk /f /r – no issues found
  3. Updated drivers through Device Manager and manufacturer websites.
  4. Ensured Windows is up to date with the latest updates.
  5. Ran System File Checker using sfc /scannow – no integrity violations found.
  6. Uninstalled recent software to rule out conflicts.
  7. Performed System Restore to a point before the issue began.

Despite these efforts, the problem persists. I am seeking further assistance to identify and resolve the underlying issue causing the bugcheck.

Additional Information:

  • OS Version: 22H2 10.0.19041.1
  • Hardware Specs: MEMORY 8GB DDR3, CPU i5-2400k 3.10GHz, SSD 240GB CL100 Manufracturer: GOODRAM
  • Any recent changes or new installations: I reinstalled entire windows due the error cause because screen was weirdly glitching but then the glitch has stopped but i was experiencing 0x109 BSOD, I also cleaned my pc that I reconnected RAM wiped its dust reapplied Thermal Paste fixed everything but the bug still proceeds

I have attached the MEMORY.DMP file for reference.

Thank you for your assistance!

These three things will show in event viewer even after the window reinstall, i will proceed today with memtest86 and i will post updates i also will post system event log so you can view it with the memory.dmp

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/\*\*\*?usp=drive\_link idk how to attach it here so here is the google drive link with event log and memory.dmp

** Full memory dump file has been removed by the moderator to prevent a potential PII leakage. **

The device driver for the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) encountered a non-recoverable error in the TPM hardware, which prevents TPM services (such as data encryption) from being used. For further help, please contact the computer manufacturer.

Hi, upon checking and analyzing the event logs and DMP files you have, there is a significant error with Kernel-Processor-Power, which means there is an error with the processor itself, this might happen when the processor is overheating or getting low power from the motherboard or in the power supply, may I know the make and model of your CPU?

If you are using AMD, I highly suggest updating the BIOS and chipset of the PC and then rechecking it.

    If you are using Intel:

Method 1. Run Intel Diagnostic tool:

    Go to this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/downloa...

Then download and run the tool.

Suppose there is any failure on the test. In that case, that means there is a hardware issue on your processor, which needs to contact Intel support or a local technician on the next step, which might be a processor replacement or board depending on the diagnosis on the hardware.

Note: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

    Method 1. Do clean boot:

A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
    • On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
    • Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
    • Close Task Manager.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.

    Troubleshooting reference: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929135...

Method 2. Run memory diagnostic tool: The memory diagnostic tool is a RAM test to check if any RAM issues cause the processor to malfunction.

    • Press Windows key + R then type in mdsched.exe hit OK then restart the device.

Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the processor or do a re-pasting of thermal paste to optimize the processor.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, based on the errors you have, it seems that it is only displaying a general error, in addition, can you attach the Minidump files again? I cannot see any shareable link for the DMP file, you may follow the steps below:

Press Windows key + E (To open File Explorer)

Click "This PC" > then follow the file path:

    C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy the Minidump files and save them to another location like Desktop or Documents.

Then please upload it to Cloud storage like OneDrive or any cloud storage you are using and please share the shareable link here.

To upload and share the link using One Drive:

Go to this link: https://onedrive.live.com/ then upload the file.

Then provide the shareable link by following the steps from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/shar...

Let me know how it goes and I hope that helps.

    Bernard
