Hello, I am Mite, an independent advisor and a user like you, and I am here to offer help.

There are 3 possible causes of this problem:

    • The game is corrupted: you can try reinstalling the game.
    • Some applications are conflicting with the game: you can perform a "clean boot" to identify the problem. A "clean boot" starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program. To perform a clean boot, you can follow this tutorial:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-t...

    • The system is corrupted. You can try repairing the system with these 2 methods:

Repair system files: Search for "Command Prompt" in the search bar, then right-click it and select "Run as administrator". After opening the command prompt, enter the following command:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

The command above can help you download the necessary files for repair. Then, enter:

    sfc /scannow

This command scans for corrupted system files. You might need to wait a little bit longer at a certain stage (around 69%). This is normal. Please wait patiently for the scan to complete.

If the method above doesn't work, you can use a Windows installation iso file to repair the system:

Download the Windows installation iso file first. Then, decompress the iso file. Open the folder from the decompressed files. You should see a setup.exe file. Open it. Follow the instructions to install Windows. There should be an option allowing you to keep your personal files and apps. That option is for repairing Windows, though it is very similar to reinstalling Windows, but it is not. However, I still recommend you to backup important files.

Here are the links to download Windows installation iso files:
