Okay, please bear with me as I'll provide another hectic approach.

Let's try stopping the Print Spooler Service before deleting the port.

Press the Windows key + R to open the Dialogue box again. Type the following message "services.msc" and press Enter. In the Services window, find the Print Spooler service. Right-click on it and select Stop.

Open the Run dialog by pressing Windows + R.

Type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

Navigate through here "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\Local Port\Ports". Look for the USB028, right-click, and select "Delete".

Go back to the Services window. Right-click on the Print Spooler service and select Start. Open Print Management again and check if the port has been deleted.

Hello Ronald_G_409, I'm Johrelle a fellow Windows/Microsoft user. I'm happy to assist you.

Have you tried deleting it through the Control Panel? If not, open the Control Panel. Click on "Devices and Printers". Right-click on the printer that you want to delete and select "Properties". Click on the "Ports" tab. Select the USB printer port that you want to delete and click on "Remove". Click on "OK" to confirm the deletion.

If you can't delete the USB printer port, let me know. You might need to take ownership of the port first. I will provide the steps if you can't still delete the USB printer port.
