Is it still ok to use windows 10 next year when it becomes unsupported and no longer receive security updates because I can't upgrade to windows 11 because my laptop doesn't meet the system requirements ?

If you use windows Defender as your antivirus program you will need to look at an alternative.
There should be an option to buy extended support by that time, so that is one option.
Personally I won't stop using Windows 10 but I will make myself aware of what may be a problem after the Sept 2025 date.
It is definitely not safe. The security updates that will stop coming address weaknesses in the Windows code. No third party is able to fix that, because no one other than Microsoft can alter the code for Windows.
Microsoft has said that they will continue to offer some security updates for Windows 10, for up to three years after it becomes unsupported, but you'll have to pay for it.
Now is the time for every Windows 10 user, including me, to make plans for how we will continue to use our perfectly good computers after Windows 10 is unsupported. Nevertheless, Windows 10 still has more than a year of support remaining, and a lot can change in that time.
Otherwise, ChromeOS Flex is a possibility, if your computer qualifies. Linux is another possibility.

Totally flaky, unsustainable and driven solely by the bottom line.
"Time"? As a senior citizen, time is something I'm running out of. Money is another concern. Expecting (forcing) all current win10 customers to replace perfectly good computers only to "upgrade" to an unwanted win11 is foolhardy at best. I'll be shopping the Apple store.

We can not tell it is %100 secure and safe since it will no longer get security updates which means it will be vulnerable and Microsoft's recommendation is to upgrade it to Windows 11.
Since your computer does not meet the system requirements, you should have good security software and use it for very basic daily tasks.
Important note: If your computer does not meet W11 system requirements, Installing Windows 11 is not recommended. If you choose to install Windows 11 on ineligible hardware, you should be comfortable assuming the risk of running into compatibility issues.
