Why on Earth would you change how to sign out or change user in Windows 11????????

Now I have to look for 3 dots and click and click more to do what I could in a couple clicks???

What POSSIBLE reason would that help anyone that uses more than one account?

WHY do I need to see my user account info instead of options to sign out or switch accounts???

WHY????? You guys keep breaking stuff like this!!! Taking what WAS working PERFECTLY FINE AS IT WAS, and make it take MORE EFFORT AND HIDE IT and make it more complicated!!!

Its DUMB.

Please STOP breaking what was not broken!

Start menu power button does not offer 'Sign out' or 'Change user', when I try that.

In reviewing a desktop I was setting up for another user, this was a freshly loaded system running the latest version of 11, it also has now installed this change despite the updates not being set to installing the latest. So apparently this change is rolling out across the network.

So my Insider build is 26241.5000 on Canary Channel. (I think I'm a build behind)

I see what you mean now. I very seldom use the functions you mentioned from Start so I hadn't noticed the change. Not a good move I agree.

They do report in the Insider blog that not all changes shown in Canary or possibly Dev channels will be carried forward to a public build so it is best to report them and give your opinion and that is what the Feedback Hub is for.

I see you are an Insider. Is the second screenshot from an Insider build?

If it is then you need to be reporting using the Feedback Hub and using the Insider forum for any queries.

My public release is as your first screenshot. I'll switch to my Insider build to check what I have. If you are using an insider build what is the full build and which channel are you using.?

I couldn't really say if it's better or worse. I don't use them on a regular basis.

Lock is available on Start from the current user icon.

    Change user is the same.

What 3 dots are you referring to?
