How do I stop most annoying sound notifications in Windows 11

I am using Window 11

As far as I know I turned off all notifications, including system

But I still get these annoying sounds which sounds like some sort of notification.

The problem is that there is no associated flashing on the screen or taskbar.

So I do not know who generates these notifications.

Is there a way to track down the app that is generating these annoying noises ?

If you cannot find Background Apps, try searching for "Installed Apps". To check the details of the apps, click the three dots and select 'Advanced options'. See if you can disable the sounds.

However, if this doesn't work. Open the volume mixer, to do that, right-click the speaker icon in your system tray and select "Open Volume Mixer". Check if any specific apps are making sounds even when their system-level notifications are off. You can mute individual apps here.

Hello RFKLBJ, I'm Quinn, and I'm happy to help you.

Let's try checking the Background Apps. Go to 'Settings' >Search for 'Background apps'. Review the list of apps running in the background. Some apps might still generate notifications even if their notifications are turned off. See if you can track down the app that is causing the noise.
