PC Continuously Restarts after Update

Hey there!

I'm having a bit of trouble with my PC regarding the latest Windows Update today. I clicked "Update and Restart" and it updated and appeared to restart, however, it shows the Windows logo and the loading circle, then goes to the purple screen saying "Preparing to configure Windows", which then changes to the "Restarting" message. The screen then goes black, and the cycle repeats. It doesn't seem to be getting past the restarting screen, and I can't use the keyboard or the task manager or anything.

Sometimes, when it shows the "Restarting" text, it goes to a blue screen with the message "Your PC ran into a problem" with the code "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE". This screen doesn't appear everytime, so it's really perplexing me.

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to comes to these types of things, so any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Lets try to resolve this and come out with a better solution together.

Kindly restart your PC and press F8 or Shift + F8 before the Windows logo appears.

Select Safe Mode from the Advanced Boot Options menu.

    In Safe Mode,

Open Device Manager by pressing Win + X and selecting it from the menu.

Look for any devices with a yellow exclamation mark, right-click on them, > choose Update driver.

If the issue started after a recent driver update, try rolling back the driver by selecting Properties > Driver > Roll Back Driver.

Run System File Checker (SFC) and DISM:

Open Command Prompt as an administrator.

Run the command: sfc /scannow and wait for it to complete.

    Then run: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.
