Hello Lily Dahlia and welcome to the Microsoft Community

Based on your feedback, you want to know if the power saving mode on Asus laptops is good or bad for the battery!

Let me provide you with some answers. Turning on the power saving mode all the time is definitely good for the life of your computer.

Power saving mode minimizes battery drain by reducing the load of some programs on the battery.

It's also a good habit to remove the power supply when it's fully charged, as charging the battery when it's fully charged will also increase the load on the battery.

It will also increase the battery load if the battery continues to charge at full capacity, thus accelerating the life of the power supply.

However, it is worth noting that if you keep using the power saving mode, although it can be a good way to protect the battery

However, this will also deplete part of your computer's performance

For example, the smoothness of the computer, the brightness of the computer will be reduced, the game process lagging and other problems will also arise.

Because the power saving mode is to minimize the operation of your computer system and software, so there will be such a problem.

Therefore, I think you can decide whether to turn on the power saving mode or not according to your own needs.

I hope you find the above information helpful.
