I can't connect my desktop to my wifi network, and the troubleshooter states that there is a problem with the wireless adapter or access point. I have already tried to see if drivers need updating but they are up to date and also reset the network and turned off both wifi network and the device, but no luck.

    Edit:

Also, you can restart your PC's network adapter using this method:

    > Right-click Wi-Fi icon from taskbar quick access.

    > Click "Diagnose network problems".

    > Click to expand "Restart the Wi-Fi network adapter".

    > Click "Restart adapter".

    > After that, monitor of issue persist.

Hi there, I am John J.D., a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand you're having issues with your wireless adapter or access point. I'm here to help. Thank you for sharing the troubleshooting steps you have tried.

Since you've already tried automatically updating drivers, please follow the steps below to Manually reinstall the network driver instead:

    > Right-click the Start and select "Device Manager."
    > Expand Network adapters. Right-click the driver and select "Update driver."
    > Click "Browse my computer for drivers."
    > Click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer."
    > Click the driver listed under Model. Click "Next" to install and click "Close."

If the issue persists, please check and carefully follow steps 3 to 10 in this helpful resource: https://windowsreport.com/problem-wireless-adap... (Note: these steps also apply to Windows 11).
