I have tried to log on my PC through the Microsoft account but it says I need an internet connection to log in.

When I go to the internet Tab there are no wifi networks to log into even though I know they are there because I am m using a sperate device,

The hardware is new and working a day ago, can this be because of a microsoft update I did the day before.

Hello! I'm Manoel Barros, a user with experience in Microsoft products. I will help you with your problem!

Windows may have updated the driver for your computer's Wi-Fi networks. In this case, you can try to clean boot or enter safe mode.

    1. Hold the SHIFT Key and restart the computer to the Lock Screen.

NOTE: if the computer cannot access Windows, before turning on the device, press the F8 Key until you enter Recovery Mode (do not stop pressing the key until you enter the option).

    • Some manufacturers can change this key, such as SHIFT, ESC, F11, F12.
    • Also try holding the key (do not stop holding the key until you enter the option).
    • Try holding down the WINDOWS key and the Power Button, and when the computer starts, release them.
    1. In Recovery Mode, select ''Troubleshooting'' > Here you will have several Windows recovery options. Try the following options:

    Startup Configuration:

Click on the option for the computer to restart > Select option 4 (Safe Mode > If you access Windows, check if you can connect to the internet. Also check if there are new updates to correct the problem.

    System Restore:

Advance through the Restore Window until you reach the available Restore Points > Choose the most recent > Advance the options.

    • If any error occurs, skip to the next step.

    Command prompt:

In the terminal, enter the repair commands below.

ATTENTION: Type the entire command on the first line > Press ENTER > Wait for the command to complete > Execute the next command in the list > When executing all the commands, restart the computer.

    sfc /scannow

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    echo S | chkdsk c: /f /x /r

    • Proceed to the next step if it does not solve your problem.

    Startup Repair:

Windows will attempt to resolve the issue.

Let me know if your issue is resolved after running the troubleshootings!
