WHY DOES MY SPOTIFY KEEP APPEARING?

My Spotify keeps appearing on my taskbar even though I dont open it. I do use it from time to time but even though i just switched on my laptop it appears. How do i stop this from happening ?

    Hello, To stop spotify from appearing on taskbar, try following either of these steps:

    1. Through the app:
      • Open soptify and select three dots on the top corner.
      • Under Edit, select Preferences.
      • Scroll until you find Startup and Window behavior.
      • Select no beside open spotify automatically after you login to the computer.
    2. Through Task Manager:
      • Open Task Manager and go to Startup apps.
      • Search spotify.
      • Select it and click on disable.
