My problem:

Asus notebook with Win11PRO 23H2 fully updated...

one day the internal monitor started to report the error

Tried uninstall AMD and Nvidia and monitor drivers, SFC, DISM ... blabla ...

no changes.

My SOLUTION (after 4 hours of bad words)

  1. Started 11 in safe mode
  2. in regedit searched 4d36e96e-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318
and deleted ALL keys clearly about the displays: internal, external, projector etc... (with ACR2100... VSC573A ... etc...)
  3. Reboot in normal mode, uninstalled the internal monitor and called regedit via PSEXEC,

than searched ACR2100 and deleted all the remaining keys about displays

Rebooted the notebook, and voilà:

Internal display, external display AND projector functional with no migration error!

tried to update the internal monitor driver with a external monitor driver from Asus (with same resolution and freq): no problem and 100% functional!

... good luck! ...
