I was told by a colleague that Microsoft is offering free/discount certification with a valid government email registration until June 2022. I've linked my government email to my personal Microsoft email account but not any exam discounts/offerings.

Free 4 day virtual course!

FCS-UofSC Data Analytics Program, (expand if necessary)

The Enterprise Skills Initiative (ESI) is a FREE opportunity to get certified in various Microsoft offerings, to include our favorite - Power BI! Simply link your personal email to your "work" email (army.mil or mail.mil) and you will have the ability to take exams for free (normally $165 for Power BI), pre-test for free (normally these cost $), as well as instructor led virtual training to get you prepared! I took and passed the DA-100 exam for Power BI... but the content has changed to PL-300 exam. Who is joining me in this 4 day course in April?

Step 2. Enterprise Skills Initiative: Delivery shared with you (microsoft.com) This is a class that is filling up fast!

Free Microsoft Certification Exams for .mil accounts thru June 2022

For those with a .mil account [military, government, contractors], Microsoft is offering FREE vouchers for ALL their exams until June 2022. You and your personnel can obtain as many Microsoft certifications as you want. The training is free as well. This process is laid out for the certifications, but the courses are about the same.

Create a profile [unless you already have one]

Browse Certifications [link2]

Select the certification you would like to obtain by selecting “Schedule Exam” on the certification page

This should reroute you to the MS exam dashboard

Navigate to the exam discount tab [link3] and put in your [.mil] email. The Verification took about 10 mins to come through.

Do not exit this page. Wait for the code to come through.

Once you’ve input the verification code… select “Claim” button that should pop up

Select “Schedule Exam”. This will reroute you to Pearson Vue.

    Hi @Francis Nguyen ,

Microsoft Certification / Exams is currently not supported in the Q&A forums.

Maybe one of the links is helpful:

Microsoft Training & Certification is supported on their own forums:
