You may want to verify solutions before presenting them that method is no longer an option.
Where has the fast user switching gone? The method required now is annoying and slow.
Why has fast user switching been made so obtuse and annoying now. Is there a way to create a link to avoid having to hover over the tiny corner of the pop up now?

If the shortcut path isn't working, please try putting in the following:
Right-click on the desktop and select "New" > "Shortcut".
In the "Type the location of the item" field, enter the following command:
explorer.exe shell:::{59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee}
Click "Next" and give the shortcut a name, then click "Finish".
Now you can click on the shortcut to quickly access the user account settings, including the option to switch users.

I agree it's not as convenient as it used to be, but this should help make it a bit easier for you. I can offer a simple workaround:
- Create a desktop shortcut:
- Right-click on your desktop
- Choose "New" then "Shortcut"
4.Type this: %windir%\System32\tsdiscon.exe
- Name it "Switch User"
Please feel free to reach out if you require any additional assistance. I'm here to help!

2024-08-21T14:12:29+00:00 Totally agree. Create short cut is the best solution for me now,
since Windows 11 now no longer has tsdiscon.ext file, just download it from somewhere.
