RAV Endpoint Protection is not installed by Microsoft. It may have been added to your PC when you installed a third-party program. You can uninstall RAV using Apps and Features.

As an FYI this came with Java as I was installing java (jre) last night as this was the ONLY software I have installed installed because I was trying to setup a Minecraft server for my kids. I must have missed clicked off the pre ticked box- be aware to make sure you TRIPLE check any software, even reputable ones before installing to make sure those pesky pre ticked boxes are unticked!

I wrote several letters to them. they haven't answered yet. This is also unusual for me. There was also 1 popup. I entered my data as part of the 7-day trial period. Yes.

"I was offered a 7-day trial period for the service, which indeed was the case. However, as shown in the attached image, I was charged a 1-year fee under different pretenses. Therefore, I believe the company is not reliable. Moreover, my bank account has two-factor authentication, but they still withdrew this large amount immediately. It is their offer that is misleading. I request that this complaint be reported to the relevant Microsoft officials and superiors. This is not an isolated problem. I believe it is misleading."

In the right corner, write that RAV is a Microsoft partner. This is true? they deducted from me an amount corresponding to 70 dollars for an annual fee.

Maybe they're a member of Microsoft Virus Initiative (MVI) like any other AV vendor, and they're listed in the Consumer antivirus software providers listing at Microsoft, along with other AV products: https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-antivirus-software-providers

However, RAV was not installed by Microsoft. It was most likely bundled with some other software.
